The children encouraged us to do activities in the kindergarten with their ideas and suggestions. During daily walks, the children were interested in clouds, we observed the clouds, named them, took pictures and then drew them. The children made a poster about the
types of clouds and the height at which they are located, and the children decided to have a balloon in front of the kindergarten entrance door as a means of flying in the clouds. When the children asked about the texture of clouds, we offered them a wet wool felting activity in which stretching the wool and joining it with soapy water reminded them of clouds. By using waste, we created new objects and thus introduced the children to the recycling process. The children used paper plates and expressed their view of planet Earth. Raising awareness of the issue of soil pollution, the children showed us what kind of soil and land they want by painting on canvas.

During the activities, the children often said sentences: “Save water”, “Turn off the lights”, “More flowers, less garbage” (Više cvijeća, manje smeća).
