Implementation of Look Up-Cloud Hunters 2025

Tijekom aktivnosti natjecanja Look Up-Cloud Hunters 2025 u talijanskoj osnovnoj školi Bernardo Benussi Rovigno u okviru izvannastavne aktivnosti Robotica, učenici su potaknuti na sudjelovanje u navedenom natjecanju.

Obzirom na ovogodišnje rokove, učenici su potaknuti da promatraju oblake te da pokušaju uočiti smjer i brzinu kretanja oblaka. Koristeći Cloud Identification Chart učenici su promatrali oblake i pokušali ih kategorizirati. Mjerenja putem aplikacije GLOBE Observer provedena su uz pomoć učitelja koji im je zorno pokazao postupak bilježenja prikupljenih podataka.

Na navedeni način upoznali su protokol – niz pitanja putem kojih se podaci prikupljaju. Također smo usporedili satelitske snimke i fotografije koje smo snimili putem aplikacije. Učenici su aktivnost smatrali zanimljivom i potaknula ih je na razmišljanje o povezanosti oblaka i vremena.

During the Look Up-Cloud Hunters 2025 competition at the Bernardo Benussi Italian Elementary School, as part of the “Robotika” extracurricular activity, students were encouraged to participate in the competition.

Given this year’s deadlines, students were encouraged to observe clouds and try to notice the direction and speed of cloud movement. Using the Cloud Identification Chart, students observed clouds and tried to categorize them. Measurements using the GLOBE Observer application were carried out with the help of a teacher who showed them the process of recording the collected data.

In this way, they were introduced to the protocol – a series of questions through which data is collected. We also compared satellite images and photos that we took using the application. The students found the activity interesting and it encouraged them to think about the connection between clouds and weather.
