Tijekom provedbe aktivnosti natjecanja Look Up – Cloud Hunters 2025 u Osnovnoj školi Jurja Dobrile – Područna škola Rovinjsko Selo, učenici su promatrali i fotografirali različite vrste oblaka na satu informatike. Uz Cloud Identification Chart bilježili su vrste uočenih oblaka i kad su usporedili podatke znali su imati različite odgovore. Navedeno ukazuje kako je potrebno daljnje vježbanje ne bi li odgovori svih učenika bili ujednačeni za isto promatranje.

Koristeći aplikaciju GLOBE Observer app zabilježeni su podaci koji su potom poslani u centralni sustav na provjeru. Bila je to prilika da otkriju kako svaki oblak, bez obzira koliko je različit, pripada određenoj skupini oblaka koji imaju svoje ime. Aktivnost ih je osvijestila o važnosti uočavanja (vremenskih) promjena u prirodi i dinamici prirodnih procesa.

English translation:

During the implementation of the Look Up – Cloud Hunters 2025 competition activities at the Juraj Dobrile Primary School – Rovinjsko Selo Branch School, students observed and photographed different types of clouds during their computer science class. Using the Cloud Identification Chart, they recorded the types of clouds observed; when comparing the acquired data, they sometimes had different answers. This indicates that further practice is needed to ensure that the answers of all students were consistent for the same observation.

Using the GLOBE Observer app, data was recorded and then sent to the central system for verification. It was an opportunity for them to discover that every cloud, no matter how different, belongs to a specific group of clouds that have their own name. The activity made them aware of the importance of noticing (weather) changes in nature and the dynamics of natural processes.
